2010 WILL be an awesome year!
We saw 2010 out with a bang! My husband and I went to see Legally Blonde the Musical in London. It is currently showing at the Savoy Theatre.
It was simply amazing. Sheridan Smith is a genius! Her comedic timing was impeccable. We laughed and cried and it was the perfect way to see the year out. I believe it has improved upon the already classic story as portrayed first by the beautiful Reese Witherspoon. The set was amazing better than the one on Broadway, in my humble opinion. After the show we walked with thousands of other Londoners through the strand unto the Waterloo bridge or the embankment. I'm not quite sure! All I know is that we saw a side view of the London eye and a great view it was when it came to counting down the last 10 seconds of 2009 and witnessing the fireworks! The only disappointment was that the people around us weren't singing Auld Lang Sine. Too Drunk i guess.
We started out journey back to our Premier Inn at 12.15 and we were in bed by 1.15 am pretty impressive considering we shuffled our feet half the way there!
It is things like checking in to hotels and hugging him when I'm cold whilst listening to the DJ whilst waiting for midnight that make me think whoa!! I'm actually married! Christmas day made it 5 months and its been amazing, you learn so much about each other, so much considering we were inseparable for 3 years prior to marriage! I thought I had nothing to learn about this wonderful man, but how wrong I was! He can make you so angry one minute and have you singing "something good" from the sound of music the next.
I can't wait to see what this year holds for us!
