You are 7 months old! This past month was very important in terms of your development. This was the month we put the stair gate up in the kitchen. We don't want you crawling in and touching the oven and you like to sit just outside whilst I make us up a snack or sort out the laundry. We have tried to baby proof the house but we want you to feel like it is yours too so we haven't gone overboard.
E.g We shut doors we don't want you to go into ( the bathroom , you know, because of the toilet brush eeeww Ethan) and doors that are left open have doorstops so you don't slam it on yourself. We make sure you can see your toy basket, you love getting busy with the treasure basket the best!
You now have your 2nd tooth and at this moment you are cutting your top two. Needless to say you are very whiny! You can now cruise whilst holding the sofa, I think you are still practising that skill but you are pro at crawling and standing now. I just need to teach you how to sit down, coz you get stuck standing and cry for help!
Eating is going well you love pitta bread, roast chicken & watermelon the best although you eat anything. You seem to like nursing before and after solids and you are getting really good at using your sippy cups.
The grossest part of weaning you is your nappies! It has changed dramatically. It Stinks! peeeeeeeeeuuuuwwwww!
I on the other hand have begun to embrace the changes that this next stage brings, I am enjoying Weaning and watching you grow into an intrepid explorer. I struggle sometimes with the amount of energy I need to keep you entertained, I'm glad your daddy comes home early.
