Letter to my Bean : You're 8 months.

My Darling Son,

Yet another month has rolled on by. It is hard to explain what it feels like watching you grow up.  More than ever this month seemed to want to prove to me that time waits for no one. You look and act more grown up than the previous month. I suppose it is true what they say, Children do indeed grow everyday.  I'm so honoured to have be chosen to be your mumma. You Ethan are a very special boy. I'm not saying this coz I'm your mum, It is something I feel very intensely. You seem to possess this intuition, put together with your expressive eyes and you have me thinking you understand more than I think you do.

Like the other day we were watching Elf and at the scene where Michael Finch dives across the table to beat up poor Buddy, You burst out crying! You were maybe scared but I notice that if someone's upset you get upset too. Baby, keep that empathy you possess. Don't let life harden your heart, Don't be ashamed or frightened of your emotions.

So this month saw your first Christmas go by. I thank God you were here to share it with us. You made it that bit more special.

Skills you've learnt this month:
 * You can now sit down from standing! Yippee!
* You can also kneel
* You understand the sign for 'Milk' ( You giggle)
* You have 4 teeth now! You got your 2 front teeth for Christmas!
