So after being a very good girl during lent, I went to a LLL meeting where the leader served some hot cross buns. I said no thank you. Thought to myself phew! On our way back my friend took us to this amazing trading post. E wanted a banana so I bought a bunch, I then thought I would be thoughtful and I bought a pack of cake mistakes flapjacks for mark. I also bought a fruit & nut mix for myself.
At the station E wanted some flapjack, I was wearing him on my back so I handed him the flapjack and put the crumbs in my gob. Just like that. That's a habit I have & it totally screwed me up :-( because before I knew it I had eaten 3 squares!
Now, where to go next. Just like in life, Failure isn't what happened its what you do after the fact.as far as I am concerned, instead of cutting my losses, I will look at this as a setback. I pray, I become a bit more mindful when dealing with items with sugar in.
Here we go.take 2.

It's so easily done.. Never mind continue on :-)
Oh mama. It happens so easily. I did stuff like that when I was going GF, and without thinking when we were doing dairy free for my youngest. Sometimes your brain just goes on autopilot and does what it always has.
Often I am an "all of nothing" person and would give up, but your attitude is so much better than mine and more in the spirit of Lent. Each day is a new beginning.
